Job Description

We are seeking a punctual, outgoing, and organized individual with great people skills and administrative abilities to join our Congregate team. The ideal candidate is a creative and friendly person and will provide an inviting and engaging environment for our Congregate program participants at San Francisco Javier Catholic Church. Being bilingual in both English and Spanish is a big plus as many participants also speak Spanish but it is not a requirement. Duties include creating and leading on-site social recreational activities, meal service, administrative functions, and community outreach to grow participation. The Site Manager will greet visitors and prepare center for the lunchtime meal service, ensuring that health and safety standards are met and that a pleasurable environment is maintained. Other duties include assisting participants with forms and completing other required paperwork accurately with timely submissions. This position is 10 hours per week, Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:00am-2:00pm. Site is located at 9110 US-183, Austin, TX 78747.

Skills / Requirements

High school graduate or GED

Bilingual (English/Spanish) helpful but not required

Ability to lift 25 lbs.

One year of office experience

Strong database skills with experience in Excel

Professional appearance and communication skills

Experience with volunteers and elderly clients preferred

Detail oriented with strong organizational skills

Ability to work independently exercising good judgement

Ability to review detailed documentation for accuracy
